As your local council we'll be involved with you through many events in your life - we'll register you when you're born, we'll be there when you go to school, some of you will work with us, we'll take away your rubbish and we'll be there to provide support if you need extra help in your life.

We work with various organisations - such as community representatives, faith organisations, the health service, police, colleges and businesses, all with the aim of making your life better.
