The Buy X, Get Y Program (Paid Placement) The BXGY program allows you to feature your title in the "Best Value" section (also known as "Better Together") of another title's detail page. What does this mean?

· Imagine that you have a book with a similar theme or subject matter to a bestseller such as Life of Pi .

· Now imagine that your title is advertised on this bestseller's page on Amazon.com with a direct link to your title and an additional 5% discount.

Buy X, Get Y (Paid Placement) vs. Automated Buy X, Get Y (Not Paid Placement)

· Does it seem the titles you think are perfect for a BXGY already have pairings? What's going on?

· As a retailer, Amazon.com uses automated services to suggest new items to customers. For this, we use what is called an Automated BXGY (not a paid placement). Paid BXGYs may override automated BXGYs, subject to availability.

Qualifying for the Small Vendor Co-Op Merchandising Program

To qualify for the small vendor co-op merchandising program:

· Your total annual retail sales with Amazon.com must be less than $1,000,000.

· Nominations for the BXGY program must be submitted 1 month before the desired start date but not more than 3 months in advance.
