Royal Gay Mail
A red post box located on Screech Beach, Heaven, Cato Island. The Gay and Lesbian Kingdom of the Coral Sea Islands post boxes carry the Latin initials of the reigning monarch at the time of their installation: in this case DR for Dale Reigning.

Gay & Lesbian Kingdom's Philatelic History
On the 1st January 2006 the Government of the Gay and Lesbian Kingdom of the Coral Sea Islands assumed control of its Postal Services. As an interim measure, Australian stamps were used. These were replaced by the Kingdoms own design in July of that same year. The Kingdom’s stamps are used with a Euro value since trade is carried out in this currency, the subject are always of a predominantly Gay and Lesbian flavour. The Gay and Lesbian Kingdom of the Coral Sea Islands intends to adopt a conservative stamp issuing policy with the aim of creating a high and distinctive reputation amongst the philatelic fraternity.

The Gay and Lesbian Kingdom of the Coral Sea Islands
The Gay and Lesbian Kingdom is a spectacularly beautiful 780,000 square kilometer territory situated 200nm east of Australia’s Great Barrier Reef and consists mainly of coral reefs, islands and coral atolls. Politically, it was an uninhabited overseas territory first administered by England and then in 1964 by the Commonwealth of Australia. On the 14th of June 2004 Gay and Lesbian activists sailed over to the Territories largest Island Cato and raised the gay rainbow pride flag and formally succeeded the territory from the Commonwealth of Australia in protest to the Australian governments recent legislation outlawing the rights of same sex couples.
