The Bureau of Plant Industry in San Andres, Manila has come up with a showcase of indigenous vegetables that are often taken for granted. They are nevertheless very important because while they are nut usually planted in commercial scale, they are very nutritious and well liked by a lot of consumers from all levels of society.

Farmers’ first harvest coffee launched in Cebu Saturday
A fiesta-themed musical will usher the much-anticipated return of Nescafe Classic First Pick, a limited edition coffee made from coffee cherries handpicked by Filipino farmers during the beginning of the harvest season. The first of a series of celebrations will be held on Saturday, January 27, at the Ayala Center Mall in Cebu City.

Tilapia seminar set on Saturday
A whole day seminar on tilapia culture that covers intensive tank hatchery, nursery and grow-out operations will be conducted by Jojo Balida on Saturday, January 27, at the AANI Seminar Center, FTI Complex, Taguig City.
