Advantage West Midlands is one of nine Regional Development agencies in England. Its role is to provide leadership and action to create more jobs, better jobs and a better quality of life for all in Birmingham and the West Midlands.

Centro is the publicly funded body charged with developing and promoting all forms of public transport in the West Midlands. Centro has achieved significant growth in rail passenger numbers by specifying service levels and timetables- as well as funding park and ride schemes and funding extra carriages.
Network Rail is the owner and operator of Britain’s railway infrastructure, which includes the tracks, signals, tunnels, bridges, viaducts, level crossings and stations – the largest of which it also manages. Network Rail is working to create a world-class railway for Britain that is safe, reliable and efficient for freight and passenger trains.
