Diagnostics

Naturopathic medicine uses many of the same diagnostic tools as traditional medicine to examine a patient.

These diagnostic tools include the following:

1. Physical Exams - the physical examination is the process by which the physician investigates the body of a patient for signs of disease.

2. Lab Tests - A medical procedure that consists of performing tests in a laboratory on samples obtained from a patient.

3. Allergy Testing - Allergy tests are used to determine which, if any, substances trigger allergic reactions in an individual. Vega testing identifies allergens.

4. Hair Analysis - A hair analysis determines exactly what chemicals are inside of you, including radiation, heavy metals such as mercury, food chemicals such as aspartame and pesticides.

5. Vega Testing - Electrodermal testing. Testing using the "vega machine" which is used in bio-energetic medicine.
