In Student Services you will find a friendly welcome and positive help whatever your enquiry. The following services and information are available to all students:
Personal Tutor As a full-time student you will be allocated a Personal Tutor. Their role is to provide support and guidance and to discuss your progress during your time at College. Guidance and Counselling This confidential service offers guidance and support if you are experiencing difficulties of any kind. Chaplaincy The College Chaplain is available to listen to any of your concerns and can be contacted through Student Services. Careers Advice A member of Cumbria Connexions is on hand to help with advice and guidance on the important future decisions you will need to make. Learning Support Additional support is available if you require extra assistance to help you successfully complete your course. Mature Students Because many of our students are adults we recognize that some of them may not have studied for some time. Some students may therefore be worried about joining a college course or be unsure about which subjects to choose. We therefore provide a number of courses specifically designed to give help and encouragement while at the same time teaching the required skills. |
