First Look at Predalien in AvP2 Movie? Comment! Movie News | 6/21/2007 | 17:05 PST - David Shipley RopeofSilicon.com is reporting they found a maquette on 3D Custom Foam of the Predalien - or "Hybrid" - in the AvP2 movie. Sweet, really? Well, they have pics, man - check it out. Wow. It might not be as sexy as a full-on Predator, but it'll still give you a pretty magnificent boner. We'll work to confirm this. 	Stan Winston, AvP2 Preview at Fangoria Convention Comment! Movie News | 6/20/2007 | 4:02 PST - David Shipley Fangoria has just announced that creature effects artist Stan Winston will be attending their "Weekend of Horrors" convention late this month. Lots of famous horror-related people will be there, along with advanced horror-related movie previews. One of them is AvP2. So, will this "advanced preview" be the AvP2 teaser trailer? The Strause brothers said the teaser will be at the Comic-Con convention in late July. Maybe this is something else? Whatever they show; it puts some strength in the rumor that there'll be some kind of AvP2 preview when Transformers hits theaters on July 4th. So saith the pussycat.

Only it's not just any Chestburster. It's the Chestburster as he's actually chest-bursting. Sweet! Man, that's pretty cool. Ha-ha-ha! Custom Predator Shoulderpads 1 Comments Merchandise News | 6/18/2007 | 22:14 PST - David Shipley Mannowar on The Hunter's Lair forums has sculpted his own Predator shoulderpads. He says the mold turned out "almost perfect." Pretty sweet. If my shoulders weren't already so broad and manly, I'd consider a pair myself. Because maybe the ladies are right. Witness: AvP2 Teaser on Transformers? 3 Comments Movie News | 6/18/2007 | 22:14 PST - David Shipley The teaser trailer for AvP2 will be shown during the movie Transformers when it comes out, according to a member on IMDB's AvP2 boards. UnrealSpiritX says MTV was talking to actress Ali Larter, who co-stars in Resident Evil: Extinction, and she said the trailers for both Resident Evil and AvP2 will be shown during Transformers. Transformers comes out July 4th. If this teaser news is true, great--we won't have to wait till July 26th, when we know for sure it it'll be shown at this year's Comic-Con. Confirmed: AvP Game for PSP 6 Comments Game News | 6/17/2007 | 2:51 PST - David Shipley This is as close to confirmation as we can get. CD Universe is listing "Alien vs. Predator Playstation Portable (PSP)" for pre-order on its Web site. It'll cost you forty dollars and get to you by November 21st, this year. Thanks to scarhunter for the tip. I guess this is confirmation of PSP: The Official Guide Book's article about the new AvP game. Strange it's not called "AvP3" or anything like that. I guess it's seperate.

	Update: AvP Game for PSP 2 Comments Game News | 6/16/2007 | 15:00 PST - David Shipley Reader Jamie Pool, who sent us yesterday's news about the AvP game for PlayStation Portable, gives us an update. Well, nothing new, really--he's just giving us the full quote from the PSP: The Official Guide Book article about AvP. It even includes comments about the movie! "Although officially top secret, we've learned that Vivendi - publishers of past Aliens vs. Predator titles - is creating Aliens vs. Predator for PSP. The game will tie in with 20th Century Fox's upcoming sequel, which is expected to hit cinemas in January. The story sees those naughty aliens and predators rocking up a small isolated town and making life difficult for the locals. It's a small, modern day town - Colorado, in fact - which may cause a few timeline problems for Aliens fans. We're looking forward to seeing how this is explained and to incinerating screeching acid-blooded xenomorphs in the rural US with impunity. More details next issue." I say incinerate the whole town and teach them a lesson about keeping quiet. It's the only way to be sure. By the way, I'm leaving for a couple days. I'm heading for Tibet to learn to become a batsh*t, crazy ninja.

That's what brother-director Greg Strause in this thread on the AvP2 IMDB boards, when asked about it. "Yep," he said. "Third time wouldn't be the charm on this one..." That's probably because the AvP2 Predator is now attractive and not like some sea creature captured off the coast of Japan. All Predators don't have to be ugly. It's just ugly people stick together; you ugly, you marry ugly, baby.

Check out this video of amateur sculptor Dragonstud's upcoming Alien suit. Come on. Did he really need to sculpt the ass? Like nipples on the bat suit, this might be Dragonstud's way of fitting in with the cool gay kids without actually having to take it up the ass. For that, I commend him! Watch the video.

	Report: New AvP Game for PSP 3 Comments Game News | 6/15/2007 | 4:40 PST - David Shipley We have a report that Vivendi Universal Games is working on a new AvP game for the PlayStation Portable! Reader Jamie Pool says it's mentioned on page nine the PSP: The Official Guide Book (the thirty-first issue - "with Kratos from God of War on the front cover"), where he said it's supposed to coincide with the release of the AvP2 movie "in January." The report says this is all hush-hush. It also mentions no other game platforms or details, but promises a lot more info in the next issue. I'll work to confirm it. Remember, we did hear from Fox before that even though the first AvP movie didn't have a direct tie-in, "there could be a new game for the sequel."
