Heatseeker (PS2) - Review

Heatseeker promises that you can "pilot the most sophisticated modern fighter jets at face-melting speed against a seemingly impossible amount of enemies" and while this is true to an extent, the sophistication seems gravely lost in a sea of clichéd cheese.

Flatout: Ultimate Carnage (Xbox 360) - Review

Bored of Burnout? Flummoxed by Forza 2? Let us introduce you to Mr. Middleground.

Missile Command (Xbox Live Arcade) - Review

ATARI must be making a pretty penny from these retro arcade titles, especially as they seem to dominate the 'classic' section in Microsofts Xbox Live Arcade right now.

King of Fighters: Maximum Impact 2 (PS2) - Review

And straight onto more King of Fighters tomfoolery. This time the first impressions seem sliced right down the senses. The opening FMV shows some truly beautiful rendering and graceful movements as we are briefly introduced to most of the characters in an operatically linked street battle.

King of Fighters XI (PS2) - Review

The ‘king’ of the fighters is back. And in terms of bangs for your buck it’s hard to knock this particular franchise off the throne. However, is this latest instalment a crowning glory, or a princely pile?

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - Review

Having lost my faith in recent years over a variety of household objects such as microwave meals, incredibly cheap electronics and computer game film-tie ins, I had little hope for what I thought would be 60 second tastelessly cheap machine-like adaptation of Harry’s latest pot-boiling misadventures.

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition (PC) - Review

Lost Planet: Extreme Condition was first introduced to gamers via the Xbox 360 early in the year. Now Capcom have decided to broaden the appeal to the PC. It's a shame they didn’t include support for PC and Xbox 360 online play but as Brad Langford finds out, the game is still as enjoyable this time around.

World Championship Poker 2 - Review

As the sign on the saloon door said ‘liquor in the front, poker in the rear’ – or was that a brothel in Birmingham?

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 (PC) - Review

The Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter series, (or GRAW for short) is the proverbial ‘marmite’ of the gaming world. Some will love the slower paced strategic gameplay based on co-operative team work, and others will simply hate it in preference to established hits like Counterstrike.

Eragon (budget) - Review

The first thing that you notice when you begin to play Eragon is that the camera/control system is tragically bad.

Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia - Review

"Zombies ate my Neighbours!" Shrieks Zack, one of the leading characters in ‘South Peaks’ latest game, Monster Madness, and he is dead on the money on both counts.

Forza Motorsport 2 - Review

With the ability to collect over 300 cars from over 50 of the world's leading manufacturers, including Ferrari, Porsche, Nissan, VW, GM, and Lamborghini, the latest Forza looks set to surpass the dizzy heights of even the award winning original.

Jade Empire (special edition) - Review

BioWare set the standards for RPG’s on the PC, with the like of Neverwinter Nights and Baldur’s Gate, they then however moved towards the Xbox market.

Pac-Man: Championship Edition (Xbox 360 Arcade) - Review

Did the Xbox 360 really need yet another Pac-Man? That was surely the question on everyone’s lips when Microsoft news blogger Major Nelson announced that Pac-Man Championship Edition would be landing in June on the Xbox Live Arcade Service priced at a pretty hefty 800 MSP.

Elite Beat Agents (Nintendo DS) - Review

Conceived from the Japanese game, ‘Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan’ and Europeanised for us back home in Blighty, Elite Beat Agents is another one of those quirky little DS games that seem to sell so well.

Mercury Meltdown Revolution (Wii) - Review

At first glance it’s debatable if the Wii really needed another game like Mercury Madness.

NHL 2K7 (PS3 Review) - Review

Canada’s national sport has slowly started to gain popularity on this side of the Atlantic. Now those people had until recently only one choice when it came to playing the game on their consoles. EA’s NHL franchise has rivals 2K Sports NHL 2K7 breathing down their necks, how do the two line up? Read on to find out.

NBA 2K7 (PS3 Review) - Review

With Chicago Bulls decimation of last years worthy winners Miami Heat in the opening game this year, everything seemed to be in place for another fascinating year, even if there are doubts about the new ball.
