Electric Match Dip Kit
This is a pre-measured selection of all the pyrotechnic compositions needed to make electric matches using GN5030 Ematch Heads or GN5040 Ematch Heads With Wires. Follow the simple directions to mix the two-part pyrogen, and you can be making electric matches in ten minutes. Each Dip Kit cotains enough material to make about 300-500 finished electric matches. This is a less expensive alternative to buying all the chemicals separately and mixing your own. 4 components in 4 separate bottles in each kit.

Ematch blanks, 1 foot wires attached (inert)
Electric match chips with 0.3 meter (approximately 1 foot)lead wires soldered on. Each chip/head is covered by a plastic protective shroud, which slides up and down the wires. Finished ematches are sensitive to friction and shock. When covering the ematch head, the shroud helps to prevent accidental ignition of the ematch. There is no pyrotechnic composition (pyrogen) on these chips. Use the pyrogen in Skylighter's GN5050 Ematch Dip Kit for best results. 40 each in a plastic bag.

Electrical Firing System, Remote Control, 12 Cue
This is the lowest-priced remote pyro control firing system we know of. This Chinese import compares favorably to American systems selling for 3-4 times as much.
It is 12-cue (or channel) system. Remote control firing systems do not need a long cable between the firing buttons and the field modulet. Use it to remotely fire one or more electric matches per cue/channel. Each cue/channel can fire multiple electric matches wired in series (daisy-chained). Each system consists of two parts, a field module and a hand-held remote control.
Field Module. The field module is used to connect all electric matches to your system. It is housed in a 5 inch x 7 inch x 2.5 inch thick plastic case and uses 12 1.5 volt (18 volts total) AA batteries (not included) or 110 volt AC power (note that batteries must stay in this particular device for AC power to work). On the top panel is a key-lock switch to turn power on and off. A rocker switch lets you switch between Test and Fire modes, with red indicator lights for each. There are 12 pairs of clips for each electric match or cue on top, and 12 red indicator lights to test circuit continuity on each channel. A fold-down, extendable antenna is located on the top edge.
Remote Control. A handheld Remote Contol lets you fire your fireworks devices from up to 500 feet away. Each handheld has an extendable antenna to communicate with the Field Module, 12 numbered push-buttons corresponding to the 12 channels on the Field Module, and a black sliding on-off switch so the remote can be disabled for safety. The Remote Control uses a 12 volt battery (supplied). It communicates with the Field Module at 315Mhz, and each set uses discrete codes. This means that you can use as many of these sets as you want in one display, without having one Remote Control unintentionally firing fireworks devices on other Field Modules.

Electrical Firing Box, 10 Cue
This is a capacitor-discharge (CD) 10-cue (or channel) firing box. It is used to remotely fire one or more electric matches. Each channel (or cue) can fire 1-50 matches wired in series (daisy-chained). This rugged system is housed in a 5 inch x 6 inch x 1.5 inch thick aluminum case. On the back panel are a key lock switch for main power and a DB25F receptacle for output to our GN6080 100 foot cable (not included) and our GN6090 10 Position Slat (not included). On the top cover there is a "TEST/ARM" mode switch, an "ON/OFF" power switch; a "FIRE/OFF" switch with ready-light; a push to test switch with an LED light for continuity; and a rotary switch to select the desired cue (1 through 10).
Normal firing procedure is to first connect one or more electric matches to the pyrotechnic device(s) being fired. Then connect the electric matches to the GN6090 slat. Then connect the slat to the GN6080 100 foot cable. Then connect the cable to the firing box at the DB25F receptacle. When you are ready to use your system, turn the power switch on. The turn the arming switch to Test mode and the rotary switch to the first cue number to test. Then push the test button to see if the red LED lights up in the built-in circuit tester. If it does, you have good continuity through that firing circuit. Turn the rotary switch to each of the remaining cues, repeating the continuity test as you go, until all firing circuits have been tested. When you are ready to fire, change the arming switch to Arm. Move the rotary switch to the first position (usually #1), and then press the Fire switch, which will fire all the electric matches on that cue. With a new C alkaline battery (one required, not included), the unit will re-charge in 10 seconds. The system will generate 300 volts (rated at 8.7 joules).

Slat, Electrical Firing, 10 Position, Standard
Slats are used to connect electric matches to the power source of an firing system. Each slat can accomodate up to 10 firing cues. Any cue can in turn, consist of from 1-50 electric matches if you use our CD firing systems and fresh batteries. Slats are normally placed within a few feet of the pyrotechnic device(s) to be fired. You can quickly and easily connect electric matches or lead wires to our slats--no wire twisting, no lugs, no screws etc. Just push each lever down - insert the wire - release the lever. Contains ten pairs of audio style connectors, one pair for each cue. 1 inch thick by 3 inches wide by 8 inches long and constructed of heavy-duty printed circuit board to provides reliable wiring. Mounted on a wooden platform for support and durability. Each cue is labeled in large white numerals which makes it easy to see in the dark. Uses a DB25F connector for input from GN6080 cable. Redundancy is built in by providing two pins per signal and five pins for ground.

Slat, Electrical Firing, 10 Position, Series
This "Series Slat" is used when you want to fire multiple devices all at the same time from different positions in the fireworks display. For instance, you could set up your display with 4 series slats, 40 feet apart from each other, all cabled together. In position #1 on each series slat, you could have red roman candles wired in. Then, when you fire #1 on your firing box, all the red roman candles would fire at the same time. To connect series slats, use 25-wire, straight-through serial cables (not modem cables), with male DB25 connectors on each end. You can buy them at computer stores in various lengths. The last slat in a series must be one of our standard slats.
