Notes:

  • The tournament winner will be the ISCA 'Tournament' World Champion and qualifies to play a 12 game match for the ISCA World Championship in Mar. 2005.
  • Kenneth Erickson enters the tournament in Round 3 as loser of the last ISCA World Championship match.
  • Round 1-3 matches are the best of 6 games, the player marked with the asterisk (*) is black in the odd numbered games
  • Round 4-5 matches are the best of 8 games, the player marked with the asterisk (*) is black in the odd numbered games
  • If there is a tie after the 6th / 8th game, another game is played - sudden death - until a winner is found
  • All games (moves and result) to be reported by the winner - unreported games will result in a double KO
  • Game assignments will be confirmed via email and dates fixed for each round
  • These email assignments will be sent out on October 19th / 20th.
