Clarksville has eleven parks located
in the town with a variety of activities, including softball, tennis,
basketball, shelters and playgrounds. A walking, jogging, biking
trail will be ready for use in the spring of 2000. Wooded View Golf
Course is one of the busiest 18-hole courses in the metropolitan
area. The Clarksville Family Aquatic Center is an award-winning

Clarksville Little Theater, one of
the oldest continuously running community theaters in the United
States, and Derby Dinner Playhouse, the only dinner theater in the
area, are located in the south section of the town and provide year-round

Lewis and Clark Parkway is one of
the main retail shopping areas. Dillard's, Sears, J.C. Penney, and
many specialty shops are located in Green Tree Mall. The second
largest Bass Pro Shop in the nation is the main store in River Falls
Mall. New shopping areas are developing along Veterans Parkway with
stores including Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, Lowes, Target, Best Buy,
and many more.
