Corporation and Foundation Relations at Seton Hall
University
The Office of Corporation and
Foundation Relations at Seton Hall University seeks
to develop mutually beneficial relationships between
foundations, the business community and the
University.
Corporate Relations
Whether your organization is a local sole
proprietorship or an international Fortune 500
company, our office enables you to participate and
benefit from a relationship with Seton Hall. We
identify and develop opportunities for businesses to
support University priorities that are aligned with
the objectives of your organization. We focus on
funding opportunities that are measurable and a good
fit for all parties involved.
Examples of ways we can assist
your organization include:
-
Recruiting (interns, new graduates or experienced
graduates)
-
Research Partnerships
-
Continuing Education (degree, certificate, onsite,
online, evening, weekend)
-
Community Projects to Increase Public Awareness
of your Organization
-
Scholarships Named for your Organization in a
Specific Discipline
A recent Community Project
we have organized is the Lucent Technologies
“Partners in Science Program.” Lucent provided
funding for high school science teachers to do
advanced chemistry research at Seton Hall, giving
them access to high level science facilities and
equipment that will result
in improved high school science courses and a better
educated New Jersey workforce.
Foundation Relations
Our office works with all schools, colleges,
departments and centers on Seton Hall’s campus to
build relationships through fundraising projects
that correspond to both foundation and University
priorities. We are experienced in working with
independent, private, community and family
foundations.
In 2002, Seton Hall earned a
prestigious $2 million Lilly Endowment grant for the
theological exploration of vocation and servant
leadership.
