A comprehensive approach to character education & training
Communities of Character is a model program designed to restore the commitment to responsibility for each other, for family and for community. The program was developed and implemented by Devereux Glenholme, home of The Glenholme School, in Washington, Connecticut. Glenholme is a residential school that provides a therapeutic learning environment for children and adolescents with learning and behavioral differences. Thousands of children have learned about Communities of Character. Teachers, educators and child-care professionals have benefited from Communities of Character training, resource materials and workshops.
