Evidence for Bible Codes
Mathematician and statistical expert
R. Edwin Sherman shared evidence which he believes shows that Bible codes were authored by a divine intelligence. The messages or codes are derived from system of equally spaced letter sequences that are computed by a software program, after a search term is entered.
Sherman said the purpose of the codes is two-fold-- to provide predictions and to also demonstrate that the Bible was written by a super human intelligence that knew the future. He differentiated his work from
Michael Drosnin, whose codes are single words or short phrases. Sherman and his team come up with much longer codes, which he said scientifically demonstrates they were placed in the original text, because statistically it would be too unlikely for them to otherwise be there.
They have discovered
codes concerning terrorism, bin Laden, and 9-11, noted Sherman, who also shared that they have found the occurrence of "multidimensional images" in the text, such as a series of
crosses in Isaiah 53.

After Dark Sneak Peek

The
October issue of
After Dark is very dark, with its
focus on creatures of the night. In one in-depth article,
Maureen Hennessey looks into vampires of the past and present. In the excerpt below, she interviews a modern-day blood sucker.
A woman who calls herself “Sanguinarius” hosts a website
for vampires--- www.sanguinarius.org. She fields questions, mostly
by way of FAQs. Asked if she is really a vampire, she replies:
“Yes. But now you have to ask ‘What is a vampire?’” She
explains that she is not supernatural, superhuman, or undead,
immortal or powerful; just someone with a powerful craving for
blood and other unspecified vampiric characteristics.
Asked what it is like to drink blood, she responds: “The
taste is beyond delightful. It alleviates the thirst, the need.
It gives a sense of peace, of well-being, of euphoria,
of relaxation and energization at the
same time. . . . Drunk, without the
sluggish clumsiness of inebriation. You
could take on the world. I sleep like
a baby afterwards.”
Sanguinarius describes herself as a
35-year-old female, divorced without
children, and living in Topeka, Kansas.
She is the head of the Kansas Branch of
Shadow Lore, which is a network and
group for vampires and donors, as well
as those who are interested, to meet and
get to know one another.
