Know A Legion: Mexican Garrison

Logo: "Our logo was renewed in an internal contest to reflect our new garrison status; we all submitted great designs and voted for the actual one, in which we are very proud, which reflects the new life our unit has always looking forward!" Mexican Garrison Commanding Officer Jorge Candelas (TD-7606) says.

Events: In the U.S., the Garrison attended the 2007 Rose Bowl Parade, "When Science Meets Imagination" exihibit in Los Angeles, Celebration IV and Comic-Con. In Mexico, the Garrison could be spotted at TNT, Expocoleccionistas, Revelations 2006, Star Fest, Rebel Con, La Mole, ComicFan, Herofest, Starfest and other conventions.

Charities: "We do participate very closely with the Red Cross foundraising, we also participate in every foundation and hospital who invites us, as well as fundrasing for TELETON to collect for kids with physical limitations," Candelas explains.

Interesting Facts: "Our Garrison has grown from 18 members two years ago to 58!" Candelas says.
