ICT Across the Curriculum

ICT Across the Curriculum is a new and professional file that will help you carry out your strategic and management roles in developing and promoting the use of ICT across the school to support teaching and learning.

It is a practical resource that will offer you guidance on how to deliver the KS3 National Strategy as well as effective embedding of ICT in the curriculum up to KS5.

Written by ICT coordinators, advisers and consultants, all the articles are grounded in the realities of classroom teaching and curriculum management.

The file is divided into four sections to help you find the information that is most relevant to your particular needs.

Management – deals with strategic issues that are most likely to be faced by people coordinating ICT across the curriculum. There are also articles here for subject leaders wrestling with management issues in their own departments.

Curriculum – provides a curriculum focus for the use of ICT, providing practical advice and showcasing case studies that highlight good practice in specific subjects from schools throughout the country.

Information updates – provides a platform for shorter articles that help bring you up to date with key issues relating to ICT across the curriculum, including reviews and information on the latest CPD offerings.

Getting the best from ICT – presents practical, step-by-step advice on a range of ICT-related issues, helping you to improve your skills and knowledge of new and existing equipment and software.
