Welcome to our new-look website. Here are the answers to some of the questions you've been asking us.
How many stories are online?More of our content than ever is now available online and we are introducing web-only material, including audio and video content, in the coming weeks and months.
You can view our video reports on your computer. And with audio stories you can choose to listen on the web or download to your portable MP3 player.
How do I add my comments to a story? We have opened up most of our stories to your comments - a valuable new channel for making your views known.
You can register to use this facility here.
You don't need to fill in all the details on the form. Just an email address and password will do. You will also be asked to submit a nickname the first time you enter a comment. It is this which will be posted next to your opinion, and it cannot be changed once selected.Registering will unlock a comment box at the bottom of most stories. You'll also have access to a Members' Area, where you can change your details and preferences at any time.
Why don't my comments appear immediately? To keep the site free from offensive or inappropriate content, your comments are placed in a
queue before they appear on the page - so don't be concerned when you don't see them right away.
Why has the navigation changed? We've tried to make it easier to find what you want. You'll notice that stories are no longer always categorised by the publication in which they appeared. So, for instance, content from our Saturday Magazine can now be found in its relevant subject area: fashion, country, and so on. This means you no longer have to search in many different areas for the stories that interest you.
Who can I talk back to?We'd like to know what you think about the new site. Tell us if you have found any problems with links or pages, or let us know if there are any other facilities you'd like us to offer.
