Triple fff Brewing Company Ltd was founded in November 1997 with the aim of brewing "Real ale that real ale drinkers drink"! The brewery started with a five barrel plant, and two brews to its name; these two beers, "Moondance" and "Comfortably Numb" remain to this day among the most popular Triple fff beers . They have now been joined by other brews including "Pressed rat and Warthog", "Dazed and Confused" and "Alton's Pride".

A testament to the high standards of brewing and the outstanding quality of the Triple fff range, is the number of awards won by the brewery since it conception only 8 years ago. In fact, The Triple fff Brewing Company has won over 35 industry awards, including A Best Beer Gold Award at the CAMRA beer festival.

The Secret of Triple fff's success, is to always use the finest Maris Otter Barley. This is malted in the age old way at Warminster Maltings, and blended with selected whole hops to achieve a fuller flavour. The water used to brew the beer comes from the Hampshire chalk downs. This water has percolated for centuries through the great aquifer, consisting almost entirely of chalk laid down in the Cretaceous period, 65 to 100 million years ago.

2005 has seen more strings added to the breweries bow, with the addition of bottled beers to its range, and the partnership with the Gilbert White House, to produce a  bottled beer, adapted from an original recipe by Gilbert White himself.
