William Gallas is likely to be sidelined for three weeks after picking up a groin injury at Blackburn on Sunday. In the 24th minute at Ewood Park, the Arsenal captain hurdled a challenge from Roque Santa Cruz and went down in agony as he landed on the other side. He immediately called for assistance from the bench and, a few minutes later, hobbled off to be replaced by Philippe Senderos. “He has done his groin, I knew it straight away,” said Arsène Wenger afterwards. “He will be out for three weeks.”
Emmanuel Eboue is out of Saturday's game against Manchester City after picking up an ankle problem in the 2-0 win over Sparta Prague.
