Open Vote

magnifying glassOpen Vote is the TUC's searchable online database of shareholder voting records. It is designed to enable trustees and other interested parties to easily access shareholder voting data previously only made available in hard copy form. In addition Open Vote allows users to view data in a graphical format, and to create comparative tables. This is intended to make comparisons between the voting behaviour of different fund managers more simple.

The data used by Open Vote is drawn from the annual TUC Fund Manager Voting Survey and will be updated annually. As you will discover when using the database, a number of fund managers have declined to provide information for the survey. If you are a trustee and your fund manager(s) are included in the database but are listed as not providing data you could encourage them to provide past data. If you are a fund manager and would like to provide past voting records for inclusion in the Open Vote database please contact the TUC.
