Triple U FM is the ONLY fully licensed community broadcaster spanning the whole Shoalhaven and was the FIRST FM broadcaster to be licensed here; milestones are not new to us! . We have been broadcasting for the last 16 years to a growing and culturally diverse audience. The community radio audience is a selective one and one that shares listening time with ABC Classic and the Triple J set. This year the Community Broadcasting Foundation using Commonwealth Arts funding, commissioned a second radio listener survey, one based on survey questions to determine audience statistics for both capital city & regional community stations.
Previous commercial radio surveys were not structured to deliver any meaningful data about community audiences. The well known McNair Anderson Ingenuity Research was commissioned to perform the survey which was carried out to industry codes of practice.
Triple U FM's advertising, whoops (ABA regulations prohibit community stations from selling advertising) sponsoring rates will really amaze you. Advertising err sponsoring on community radio has been proven to be a commercially viable medium for small business & tradesmen and for NEW businesses to establish name & product recognition.
Savvy advertisers using community radio for their medium are often looking for the "warm & fuzzy" spin that comes with being a supporter of a community organization, but additionally, the large and ever growing community radio audience should not to be overlooked by advertisers for direct promotion of their products & services. Our advertising packages do not require you to enter into long, cumbersome and expensive contracts as is the case with commercial radio stations. Sponsoring Triple U FM is simple & cost effective with no contracts.
You won't pay any costs for the preparation of your Add unless you want it to be a major production like "Star Wars" If you are already using commercial radio for your advertising campaign, we can also run the very same Adds and at a fraction of the cost. All of our sponsor messages go to air from a computer and are scheduled like a commercial radio station does but if you want something special such as "live reads" or maybe you want us to conduct an outside broadcast (OB) at your place of business, talk to us and we will tailor a package to suit YOUR needs.
