More than 11 000 students attend 31 Catholic schools within the Diocese of Townsville - which extends north to Abergowrie, west to Mount Isa, south to Proserpine and includes Palm Island.

The Diocese offers a diverse range of schooling options from large P-12 schools and boarding colleges through to small, remote-based country schools.The Diocese also has a growing Indigenous student population.
