Some secrets are too good to keep.  Someone has let it slip that actress Natalie Portman will co-star in the fourth installment of the Indiana Jones film series.  The news was accidentally announced by actress Karen Allen, who starred as Indiana Jones' love interest Marion Ravenwood, in the 1981 original Raiders of the Lost Ark.  During an interview, Allen blurted, "I just heard Natalie Portman was cast as Indy's daughter".  Apparently, after realizing her slip, she quickly redirected the conversation.

Portman, who recently starred in the film adaptation of V For Vendetta, was likely considered for the role due to her work with Indiana Jones writer George Lucas, who directed her in her role as Queen Padmé Amidala in the three Star Wars prequels.

Other actors rumored to appear in the fourth Indiana Jones film include Donnie Darko and Brokeback Mountain star Jake Gyllenhaal and 007 himself, Sean Connery, who starred has Jones' father in 1989s Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
