About Us The Community Centre for Media Arts (CCMA) is a non-profit organization based in Hamilton, Ontario. The CCMA was formed out of a desire to use media as a tool for community development. For the past ten years, we have been working with the education sector, community organizations and other partners to create arts education and media development projects. In many ways, the CCMA is a coordinator of community resources and the success of each of our projects reflects our growing ability to bring community organizations, volunteers, businesses and government together for a common purpose.
Community Media Development The CCMA helps community organizations and small businesses to develop their media potential. We provide web design and media development services that are specific to the community's needs. Through in-depth consultation, we are able to create services that not only benefit those who use them, but also those who create them.
Public Programs The CCMA strives to support individuals in the development of their artistic, technical and social skills. We run a vibrant Youth Media Arts program that provides youth with a wide range of experience relating to media development and the arts. The CCMA supports youth in transition and emerging professionals by providing meaningful employment and mentorship opportunities. |
