  • 4/9/07 Kailah Elliott-Koloamatangi has been competing at the Australian Open Short course Championships in Melbourne.  During the week Kailah swam extremely well swimming some personal best times and competing against some of the best swimmers in Australia and the world.

  • 3/9/07 Annie Williams does it again - Another World Record in the EAD 50m Freestyle in a time of 29.63!!!

  • 29/8/07 Wonderful News - Ex Student Annie Williams has created a new world record in the EAD 100m freestyle (S9 classification) 1:05.13
  • Surfing
  • Recently Kailah Elliott-Koloamatangi competed in the Australian Lifesaving Championships at SOPAC.  Kailah competed extremely well gaining gold, silver and bronze medals in a range of events.  This was a bit of a surprise for Kailah as she is quite new to these events.
    Kailah has now been selected in the Australian Team (6 females, 6 males) to compete over 3 days against a team from New Zealand.

  • SydneySwimPLC Club achieved some excellent Results at the Metropolitan Championships on 30th June & 1st July - Click here for full results

  • Cathleen Santoso in Year 7 competed in the St George Week of Golf in the Schools Challenge.  Cathleen represented PLC winning the 12 yrs and under age group. Congratulations Cathleen!!!

    During the holidays 3 PLC students represented Sydney Swim Club at the Australian Age Nationals in Perth. Kailah Elliott-Koloamatangi gained 2 silver medals in 15 yrs 50 free and NSW freestyle relay. Caitlin Merrett swam 2 personal best times in 100m back and 200m back. Zoe Johnson swam a personal best time in 50m free

  • Pancha - Sydney Swim Coach accompanied these girls with their families to Perth and has done a great job with them!

  • Congratulations to Ally Catterson, Claire Hodgkinson and Amy Thielemans who have been selected in NSW Emerging Blues teams for 2007 - Ally the Under 13's and Claire and Amy the Under 15's. Fantastic News!!!
  • NSWCIS Awards
  • Congratulations to Laura Fletcher (Diving); Jasmine Considine (Diving), Olivia Halicek (Swimming) and Amanda Cox (Water Polo). These girls were all awarded with 2006 Blues. Special congratulations to Laura - this was her 3rd Blue Award which puts her in an elite group of only 6 students who have achieved such distinction
  • Lucy Glanville also received an award as a member of the winning Primary School Team of 2006 - Junior Girls Football
  • Ms Wilson was awarded as Assistant Coach of the Secondary Girls Cricket Team - The Secondary Team of the Year which won the NSW All Schools Championship for the first time in CIS History
  • Other students who were successful in CIS sport during 2006 who will receive Medallions (awarded for Representation in a NSW All Schools or NSWPSSA team are: Courtney Owens, Jody Potter, Sophie Skillman (Athletics); Marlaina Kouzoumis (Diving); Catherine Macarounas, Kailah Elliott-Koloamatangi (Swimming) and Jessica Cox (Water Polo)
  • Triathlon
  • Elisha Francis and Jillian Slee competed in the NSW All Schools Triathlon on Thursday 22nd February. Elisha was 4th and Jillian 6th from Independent school students in a field of 79 competitors
  • Following this event Elisa competed on Sunday in the Australian U19 Long Course Triathlon at Huskisson and finished 10th - an excellent achievement
  • Synchronised Ice Skating
  • Danielle Keenan will be representing the Macquarie Illusions in the Spring Cup in Milan and the Neuchatel Trophy in Neuchatel in the next 4 weeks. We wish Danielle all the best for this wonderful experience
