Veteran reporter Brian Joyce has been with the Channel 3 News for more than ten years. In that time, he has been awarded more than a dozen first place broadcast journalism awards from the Vermont Associated Press...most of them for investigative reporting.

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, where he was a German major, Brian is proud to claim he has been a Vermont resident for 22 years. He's also proud that his mother's side of family is comprised of Vermont natives.

Brian was News Director at WDEV Radio, Vermont's first radio station, for four years before joining WCAX in 1989.

In 1998, Brian won the prestigious Silver Gavel Award from the American Bar Association with photographer Joe Carroll and Producer Will Mikell

He is an Air Force veteran, enjoys fly fishing, gardening, coaches youth soccer in Burlington, where he resides.
