The
Frontier El Dorado Community Advisory Panel
(CAP) was designed to provide communication
and better understanding between the refinery
and members of the community. Community
Advisory Panels have been set up throughout
the country as an outreach initiative voluntarily
undertaken by industry. CAPs seek to improve
industry credibility and community trust
by engaging in an ongoing dialogue between
the community and industry.
Our
Community Advisory Council is made up by
a diverse group of community members who
volunteer their time to discuss items of
mutual interest. Typically, the group meets
every other month during the year and hears
a presentation regarding a specific topic
that is usually selected by the group. An
exchange of ideas regarding that topic also
occurs. Questions and comments from the
Panel are encouraged.
Membership
is open to community residents and visitors
are encouraged to attend. Anyone interested
in attending the meeting, or becoming a
member of the panel should contact Sue Willhite
at 316-321-8332.
