Pat Sharp

Pat presented his first show for BBC Radio 1 at the tender age of twenty. Following his shows on Radio 1 and Top Of The Pops appearances, he went on to host mid mornings as a prime time presenter at Capital Radio London for a decade. He picked up a gold Sony award in 1992 for best DJ whilst notching up his 7th hit single raising over a million pounds for charity as part of the 'Pat & Mick' dynamic duo. He then took his mid morning slot to # 1 again beating his original Capital show as part of 7 successful years at London's Heart 106.2 FM.

Nicknamed 'Patman' his radio shows have been heard on BFBS for our troops worldwide, along with programmes in flight aboard Swiss, Sabena and Britannia Airways. Is there no escape?!

On TV Pat hosted the No 1 rated CITV show 'FunHouse' for 12 years along with other ITV shows such as the Saturday morning spectacular 'What's Up Doc', '10 Sharp', Challenge TV's 'Prizetime', Sky One's 'UK Top 40' and the 'Gala Opening of Disneyland Paris' for ITV. He recently even appeared in an ITV sitcom, 'The Slightly Filthy Show' playing the part of a DJ and won the DJ special of 'The Weakest Link' beating radio colleagues to earn £12,700 for charity. His 2004 appearance on Channel 4's 'The Games' earned him great respect from viewers and fellow contestants alike, as he was proclaimed 'The People's Hero'.

On both TV & radio his dulcet tones voice commercials for Pampers, Warner Bros Cinemas, Sodastream, Rice Krispies Squares, The Daily Mail, Branston Pickle & Surf to name but a few.

Pat is also a regular at many UK clubs and bars (not actually drinking) but performing to wild University crowds and corporate appearances up and down the country. He also plays live to large crowds of holidaymakers each season in Ibiza & Mallorca plus hosting retro nights in Norway and beyond.
His current radio venture is a network personality show for Century FM, part of the Capital Radio group, heard over much of the UK.

Pat is married to Monica and they have three children, Nicci Daniel & Charlotte and his natural progression will be to host family entertainment on screen, the same as he does at home!
