SPEEDO TOP 40 OPEN TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE RELEASED (9.17.07) With a little under a month and a half until the 2007 Speedo Top 40 gets underway the schedule for day one of the open tournament has been released. The top four returning teams from 2006 (NYAC, SET, Commerce, and SOCAL) enter as the top seeds. The 16 teams were divided up into four groups with group play taking up the early part of day one. USA WATER POLO ANNOUNCES 2006-2007 ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICANS (9.4.07) USA Water Polo is proud to announce the first ever USA Water Polo Academic All-Americans. Student athletes were selected based on the 2006-2007 academic school year. Students had to have a minimum grade point average of 3.6 to qualify and had to have competed in a USA Water Polo national event. Those with 4.0 GPAs were recognized as outstanding achievers.
