Film and television are the game, Peter Williams is the name... but
it wasn't always that way. Community theater (Whose Life is it Anyway?,
Women of Manhattan, Big Yard 1 & 2), low pay/high satisfaction roles
and some crucial casting (McGyver, Wiseguy, 21 Jumpstreet) gave
Peter his firm launch as an actor with a distinct flavor.
Being based in Vancouver's redhot industry allowed Peter five seasons
as "Pin" in the syndicated series Neon Rider, and as the recurring
character "Apophis" in the international hit, Stargate SG-1.
Plus four seasons (so far) of the critically acclaimed DaVinci's
Inquest and numerous guest star roles in such shows as The X-files,
The Outer Limits, Due South and television films, VH-1's recent
Sweetwater about the first band to play at Woodstock!
The feature film arena has seen Peter nominated for the Best Actor
in a Leading Role Genia Award, for Soul Survivor, a project
developed with his brother. Screened at the Cannes, Sundance, and
Toronto Film Festivals, Peter reaped positive press for his
performance. Clement Virgo's Love Come Down saw Peter back
on the festival circuit in a supporting lead in 2000, and
he recently worked with Ving Rhames in Robert Townsend's Holiday
Heart. Currently, he is filming Liberty Stand Still.
Peter lives with his wife and children in Canada.
