Javier Garrido
Javier Garrido (full name Javier Garrido Behobide) is a left back who despite being just 22 had nearly three full seasons in La Liga under his belt by the time he moved to City. Making his debut early in the 2004/05 season, Garrido impressed in a side that struggled and eventually were relegated at the end of 2006/07. New Sociedad manager Chris Coleman publicly accepted that it would be hard to hang on to Garrido if the right money was offered for the defender, and City moved quickly to snap up the Spanish Under 21 international on August 2nd. 'Javi' made his debut in the opening game of the season at Upton Park, loomking immediately at home in the Premier League. |
