Friends remember victim Tony Dulieu

MURDER victim Tony Dulieu has been described by friends as a "top man" and "a gent".

Friends have been posting website messages of condolence after police confirmed Mr Dulieu was one of the three people shot dead at a house in Plaw Hatch Close, Bishop's Stortford, on Tuesday evening.

Messages have been posted on the website of the Evening Echo newspaper - published by Newsquest which also publishes the Bishop's Stortford Citizen.

Mr Dulieu, 33, from Billericay, died along with father and son Keith, 52, and Matthew Cowell, 17.

Two women in the house were injured in the incident and remain in a serious but stable condition in hospital. A three-year-old girl who was in the house was unharmed.

Nina, from Grays, wrote: "Tony you will be sadly missed. You were a top man. My thoughts go to your family."

Carly, from Dagenham, in another message posted on the website - www.echo-news.co.uk/news - wrote: Tony, I can't believe it. You will be missed. Deepest sympathy to those who knew and loved you. RIP xx "
