Coach Specht, a 1986 graduate of St. Xavier, enters his 14th season with the Bombers, his 4th as the Head Coach. Coach Specht serves as an English teacher at St. Xavier and presently teaches freshman Oral Communications. He received his undergraduate degree in English Literature from Earlham College (Richmond, IN) where he lettered in both football and baseball all four years while serving as the captain for both sports his senior year. He later earned a Masters degree in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College (Detroit MI). While a student at St. Xavier, Coach Specht lettered in varsity football 3 years and served as team captain his senior year.
Coach Specht resides in Fairfield with his wife, Becky and their three children; Bailey, 15, Hayden, 9 and Cameron, 8.
