L'admission en 5ème année et l'inscription dans l'un des parcours de formation proposés dans la maquette de 5ème année ne sont possibles qu'aux étudiants dont l'établissement a signé une convention avec l'IEP de Lille (Université de Lille 2, Instituts d'Etudes Politiques, Université de Lille 1, Université de Lille 3, Université de Münster, Université de Canterbury, Université de Montréal).


Public Administration

• To allow students to have a excellent knowledge in the fields of public law.

• To give a specialization in public Administration.

• To steer towards careers in the field of economic action of the local or national governments.

 


 
Institutions and Politics in European Union

• To promote an academic, scientific and practical approach to the European integration.

• To prepare students who wish to present themselves to recruitment examinations in European Institutions as well as the numerous employments in the interest groups around European Institutions (corporations, trade unions, lobbies and specialized advisors on European affairs, territorial communities...).

• Préparent les étudiants aux responsabilités qui seront les leurs dans le cadre des carrières européennes : traitement d’appels d’offres européens, montage de dossiers de subventions, études de cas en matière de représentation des intérêts, d’expertise juridique, etc. L’objectif est de fournir aux étudiants un savoir-faire directement utilisable dans la gestion de dossiers européens.


Managing and solving International crises

• To give an international culture to students, to develop their capacities to analyse and construct synthesis in the field of international relations.

• To train students for careers solving international crises. To take into account the rising demand of specialists in the field of crisis management and security. To give a training totally focused on professional practice.

 


 
Institutional Communication in the Corporate World

To train specialists in Communication within the Corporate World who will then be able to work with advertisers, agencies or other types of corporate communication.

The program focuses on a two fold approach :

  • One dedicated to all types of communication within the Corporate World with an overall approach,
  • One specialized in communication in Financial Matters, based on a sound, in-depth knowledge of financial markets.


Culture and Development

• To prepare for public policies concerning cultural projects in local administrations and communities.

• To prepare for the management of cultural enterprises.

 


 
Preparatory classes for the ENA (ie National School of Public Administration)

• To prepare students for careers in the French administration (three civil services including the army), and also the European and international administrations.

• To have access to employment as consultants throughout local communities or as parliamentary assistants.


International development and cooperation

• To study the issues linked with development and cooperation, with sound knowledge and a capacity to analyse international problems through debates, institutions and policies.

• To give a real capacity to work in European and international frameworks.

• To integrate the important international governmental organizations and to come up to their standards as far as development and cooperation are concerned.

Media and Society (this course consists of preparatory classes for schools of journalism)

• To prepare for entry examinations to Schools of journalism.

• To give a teaching on history and sociology in journalism.

• Initiation to the practice of journalism.

• To do a long-term internship in the media in France and abroad.


Local Communities and sustainable development

To give the conceptual and methodological basis for the principles of sustainable development, insisting particularly on the collective and the individual approaches which allow students to have autonomy in the development and use of technical knowledge: territorial affairs, negotiations, representation and crisis management.

To prepare for the competitive teaching exam in economics and social sciences. Success enables the graduates to be appointed teachers in economics and social sciences in a secondary school.
