Heather Los Angles, CA"The Brave One" was like riding a roller coaster around New York City with it's highs and lows and vistas. I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. I was truly mesmerized by this story. I never ever get sick of seeing Jodie Foster in thrillers I could watch hundreds more if given the chance. September 17, 2007
Dennis Clarke Clearwater , FLIn a society gone mad with political correctness and a continuous mantra that tells us to “just roll over, take it and just try to cope,” Jody Foster will not likely get the Best Actor Oscar she earns in “The Brave One” but frankly, I have seldom seen such a powerful performance from any actor. Political correctness aside, this is the kind of performance Oscars are made for. But in an environment, tailored to cater to a subculture of criminals and suppressive, sociopathic individuals, indeed, an environment run by them, we are not allowed to fight back or even think the thought. It has always been the case that individuals and small minorities of dedicated souls, individually or banded together to fight back against the mindless force of bullies and criminal tyrants, who have with their very lives, repurchased the space in which we may live in peace and liberty.
