Streisand grossed $5,265,600 from 16,510 paid attendance. The tour also rang up concessions per capita spending of nearly $6 a head, and a merchandise per cap of $12.41.
This is the second major tour to begin in Philadelphia at Wachovia this fall. On Sept. 12 the Who grossed $1,587,526 from attendance of 16,042, with concessions and merch per caps of $10.63 on $12.31, respectively.
Both the Who and Streisand tours are produced by Michael Cohl of CPI, who is also producing the current Rolling Stones tour. "At the rate we're going Barbra will have the [box office] record at every building she plays," Cohl recently told Billboard.
