The Hunt for October

October baseball is upon us, but it won't start with a postseason game just yet. The National League wild card is still up for grabs with the Colorado Rockies hosting the San Diego Padres in a one-game playoff tonight.

The United States clinched the Presidents Cup for a fifth time in seven editions, giving the Americans a 5-1-1 overall record. The next Presidents Cup will be held in 2009 at Harding Park in San Francisco.
