Black South West Network, The

Black South West Network's mission is to provide a regional voice for the BME VCS in the South West region, supporting over 300 member organisations enabling inclusion and participation in social, economical and political processes. BSWN provides representation on policy within statutory organisations and provides support to strengthen the BME VCS in terms of infrastructure and networking. BSWN works strategically with regional agencies to ensure equality of access to policy making, resource allocation and investment across, social, economic and environmental development programmes for the benefit of all communities across the South West.

Black South West Network's Provides on line Business Management systems, funding directories, experts on line, tools for collaboration, partnership development and Consultation services to the Statutory and Voluntary sector.

Council for Ethnic Minority Voluntary Organisations (South West) (CEMVO)

A national charity set up in 1999. The South West office runs a series of development programmes on behalf of the Ethnic Minority Foundation the main focus of these programmes is to build capacity in ethnic minority communities and organisations. CEMVO (SW) network has links with individuals and community organisations across the region. It provides an opportunity to share good practice and debate issues of concern to ethnic minority communities.
