The Norris Family in Kursk, Russia
Slova Khristova (Word of Christ) Church International is located
in the historic city of Kursk, Russia. Near the center of the ministry, the beginnings of Christian faiths are giving
The World a heart for Russia & Russia a heart for The World
Center of International studies at Kursk State Medical, a 6 year English speaking health sciences
center, and exchange students at Polyteknikal Univesitet frequent the campus mission. Pamela especially has worked with
the "Girl's Days Out" events. She took 10 girls on a retreat for two days out of town for girl talk, organizing
prayer & worship. She can be reached by email at email@example.com .
The Word of Christ Church International ( WCCI ) is developing multimedia ministries
with the help of full time associate pastors, and students. Pastors Edgar & Pamela Norris have emphasized the
historic value the strategic Command Station Bunker & Museum give to honor the Battle of Kursk fought in WWII. A Russian
T38 tank is on display. The 3 men tanks had the advantage over the Panzer 2 men during the largest armored
battle ever. Having to pop out of their gun turret's hatches like a prairedog to aim the cannon, Panzer tank gunners
were caught in close proximity by the T38's agile fire power. The history of Kursk claims over 6,000 armored vehicles
clashed in the decisive battle. Although the Nazi's occupied Kursk temporarily, their offensive was halted, and supplies
cut off. This was the turning point of World War II that began the victory of the Soviets. The Norris ministry
is able to assist in healing. John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth,
give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Following After God With Reckless Abandon
Giving Foreigners A Heart For Russia
Giving Russian-Speakers A Heart For The World
Col 3:16, "Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonshing one another in psalms and
hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."
Norris Family History and Calling (From Pamela's Viewpoint)
When we married in 1985, every time Ed saw an airplane he said, "I'll fly the world to preach the Gospel".
Only God knew He would send us to Kursk, Russia with our children Philip and Lily in 1998, add Nina to our family, and we
would minister to Russians and foreigners from all over the world, then begin travelling to their home countries to minister
at their invitations. It is the adventure of a lifetime and it only gets better as we follow God more wholeheartedly! We now
have two churches in Kursk, one in English and one in Russian. It is a joy and honor to serve Russian-Speaking people and
foreigners in Kursk as we follow God. He is moving among His people to bring more and more into the Kingdom and we are privilaged
to be a part!! You, too can join with us by coming on a short trip, praying, giving finances, or helping in some creative
way that God shows you!
Word of Christ Church International

Asia, and South America who are studying medicine, computers, and engineering in Kursk. Pamela can be reached by email at
Slova Khristova's mission is to seek after God's lost lambs, discipling them in the Love of the Father and raising them
up to reach their own people and the world with the Gospel message of salvation.
Kursk is a 1,000 year old city with a rich and tragic history. The largest armored-vehicle battle in the history
of the world took place in Kursk during WWII. In visiting the Strategic Command Center and other WWII memorial sites, one
can feel the depth of pain from this war. One town that had 10,000 men lost 8,200 of them in the Kursk Tank Battle. While
America lost 350,000 people in WWII, Russia lost 27 million. We honor the Russian people for their survival and perseverance,
and we pray for a full healing from the pain... In John 14:27, Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you:
not as the world giveth, give I to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." Our Heavenly Father is
able and willing to bring healing to a nation that still feels this pain. Please pray with us for the Lord to flood the Kursk
Region with His Love and Healing Power!
One sees Russian T38 tanks on display. The 3-man tanks had the advantage over the Panzer 2-man tanks during
the battle. Having to pop out of their gun turret's hatches like prairedogs to aim the cannon, both Panzer and T38 soldiers
were at risk, but the 6,000 armored vehicles eventually clogged the fields so much that the men got out and fought hand to
hand. Although the Nazi's occupied Kursk temporarily, their offensive was halted, and supplies cut off. This was the turning
point of "The Great Patriotic War" that began the victory for the Soviets.
