Canon Digital Rebel XTi
Canon's new Digital Rebel XTi has a 10-megapixel self-cleaning sensor, a bigger (2.5") and brighter LCD monitor with a 160° viewing angle, and 3 frames-per-second shooting with 27-frame burst capabilities. Pioneer PDP-5070HD
Pioneer has a "Plasma Persuasion" page on its web site with advice on how to "sell your spouse on HDTV." But their latest 50" plasma practically sells itself, with its deep blacks, accurate color decoding, and outstanding image quality. The TV has tons of inputs (including PC), dual-tuner PIP, and comes with detachable bottom speakers and a table stand.

The next big thing in digital cameras may be optical zoom. Panasonic just released the 8.1-megapixel Lumix DMC-FZ18, which has a 28mm wide-angle Leica lens with 18x optical zoom. Now you can get up close and personal from an even greater distance. Other camera features include optical image stabilization, face detection (up to 15 faces), and an "intelligent auto" shooting mode that selects the exposure and scene mode for you and eliminates blurring from shaky hands or moving subjects.
