Football News and Notes Tuesday Press Conference Notes - MTSU By Kris Wright, October 2, 2007 5:47 PM
The Virginia football team heads out on the road again this week where it will be looking for its second consecutive road victory. For a team that's won four straight games, that may not sound too daunting. But it is. The Cavaliers haven't won a non-conference road game since defeating Syracuse in 2005 and they haven't won back-to-back road games since 2004. Football Feature Greg's Game Grades '07: Pitt By Greg Waters, October 2, 2007 12:05 PM
Say what you want about Pitt's poor execution, devastating turnovers and sloppy play, but make no mistake this was a game where one team was simply overmatched by another. On paper there may not be a huge gap between the Hoos and Panthers, but between the ears, between the rib cage, and between the lines, there is a huge difference. But the grades weigh both execution and subjective analysis - so how did the Hoos do? Football Recruiting Update Commit Profile: Friendly DB Devin Wallace By Chris Horne, October 2, 2007 11:00 AM

Football Column Notes From The Upper Deck: Night Lights By Robert Mahini (Vandy-Hoo), October 2, 2007 10:00 AM
After some scorching-hot home games, Charlottesville finally delivered one of those perfect early autumn days. And after some noon starts, the schedule finally delivered a late kickoff that allowed us all to enjoy it. Students were at their cocktail parties. The rest of us were hanging out with friends in the parking lots, passing the time with some food, beverages, and conversation. Ah, enjoying a Saturday at the University the way Thomas Jefferson would've wanted it to be enjoyed ... had he known about football and parking lots. Recent News and Features: 10 Things I Learned Vs.
