Released 2.8.5 for Windows. See this forum post for a list of changes or to leave comments. The most notable improvement is probably the moveable components, that is, you can move the userlist and tree around to different positions with the mouse [youtube video]. A release for GNU/Linux with similar features will follow soon.
Development is under way to standardise a IRC services protocol. We will be supporting an effort at irc-plus.org and I urge all IRC server authors to get involved. This is all designed to make registering nick-names and logging in to IRC easier for end-users. That is, with a GUI, without having to remember complicated commands.

Released 2.6.0 for Linux/Unix! The ChangeLog is almost the same, but slightly different to the Windows release. There's some further release notes here. RPMs for Fedora Core 4 are also up, but lack the DBUS (irc:// protocol) support, because FC4's version of dbus is too old.
