Henry Guerrero

Henry Guerrero began his journalism career as an intern at WFAA-TV.

While earning a degree in Broadcast Management from the University of Texas at Arlington he spent a year as a production assistant for the Channel 8 newsroom in Dallas.

Soon after graduation Henry left WFAA-TV. It was a short journey across the parking lot to TXCN, Texas Cable News. As a promotion producer, he created campaigns and spots that set the image for the station.

In 2000 Henry made a U-turn in that same parking lot and returned to WFAA-TV as a reporter and associate producer for a television news magazine.

Today, Henry's the producer and host for the half-hour show La Vida. It's a news magazine dedicated to Latino life in the U.S. The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences recognized Henry's work with a few Emmy Awards. Henry also received half-a-dozen Emmy nominations, a national Imagen award nomination as well as a Dallas Press Club award.

Henry enjoys muscle cars, music and Tex-Mex cuisine.
