Butler, Germany and Richards no longer with football team

At a briefing before this morning’s Spring Practice, Michigan coach Lloyd Carr informed reporters that three Wolverines, tight end Carson Butler, defensive lineman Eugene Germany and cornerback Chris Richards are no longer with the team.

The announcement comes on the heels of all three players facing legal difficulties.
