Whitewater Rafting
Turtle River Rafting Company has been guiding whitewater rafting trips in California on the Klamath, Trinity, Sacramento, Salmon, and Scott rivers since 1976. In the early 80's we added the Rogue, Upper Klamath, and Owyhee rivers in Oregon to our schedule. From April through September, we offer 1- to 6-day rafting vacations: one- & two-day river trips where families can take children as young as four; more adventurous multi-day wilderness journeys; and some of the wildest Class 4 & 5 whitewater in California and Oregon. We live north of San Francisco in Mt. Shasta, California. This rugged, mountainous country is treasured for its solitude, exceptional wildlife, and fabulous scenery. The rivers running through the Siskiyou and Marble Mountain Wilderness Area's of northern California offer some of the best whitewater rafting in the western United States. Lower Klamath - Our most popular multi-day rafting trip. A summer vacation in the Marble Mountains of northern California. Wilderness canyons, hike to Ukonom Falls, eagles, otters.  3-, 4-, or 5-Day TripsClass 3 | Ages 6 & up.
One & Two Day Trips: Lower Klamath - The first day or two of our wilderness trip. Middle Klamath - Class 2 rapids, summer blackberries, osprey, turtles. Ages 4 & up. Upper Klamath - All-season Class 4+ - over 30 major rapids - remote wilderness Ages 14 & up. Trinity - Near historic Weaverville - Hot summer days, cool flowing river.
