Ambassador Stapleton with the EaglesThe eagles in Paris
Based in Lyon during the Rugby World Cup, U.S. national team, the Eagles, spent a day in Paris on September 18, 2007.  After visiting the Louvre museum and Notre-Dame in the morning, Ambassador Stapleton welcomed them at his residence for a barbecue.  The Eagles later visited the special rugby exhibit at the Quai Branly Museum and had their picture taken at the top of the roof.  They ended their busy day with a visit to the Eiffel tower.
