Sports are all about competition, winning a medal or going the distance for the Championship. For us here at Yahoo, it was essential to allow a way for users in the Sports Community to get recognition and be rewarded medals for their participation on the Sports Message Boards - just like teams and sports stars do all year round.
So if you want to feel like Roger Federer, Fernando Alonso or Kaka, simply add your views to the existing Message Board discussions, start new threads for fellow sports fans to comment on, and rate the comments from other people, to build your own “Reputation.” Remember that your standing within the top Message Boards achievers is decided by the other users, and not Yahoo, so identify yourself within the community as the expert for a team, a Sport or a topic, and start earning those 5 star rewards from other Yahoos!

You’ll need to login, so we can track your accumulated score, but if you use other Yahoo services like Mail or Messenger, then you’re registered already!

Hi Everyone,
So, the French Open is finally upon us and we've been working hard to bring you some great content.
First of all, we have former French Open champion Matts Wilander writing for us. You can read his latest post here. Also, don't forget to check out our great photo gallery where you can browse through all the latest photos from the tournament.
The Tennis Latest Module has been full of the live scores and latest results. Try clicking in the box for more details but as an example, why not take a peek at the live commentary we offer.
And finally, thanks again for all your comments. Although we're not able to respond to all of them we are taking them very seriously and have even started to implement a number of your suggestions.

Hi everyone,
Welcome back to the new Yahoo! Eurosport blog. For those of you who have not seen the site before, please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the new site. For those of you returning, thanks for coming back!
We have now had quite a bit of feedback on the new site. We’re all new to this site and it will of course take some time to get used to the changes. However, we’re very grateful for your feedback and will of course take all your comments into consideration. For example, there appears to be some concern regarding the navigation on the football section of the international site (rather than the UK one). We’re constantly looking at making improvements and will be thinking about ways to make this a better experience.
Right now, we were hoping to address a few specific concerns that have been raised on the blogs. A number of you have asked questions regarding the Giro d’Italia. News, live commentaries, gap-standings, photos and much more can be found here: http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/cycling/giro/ You’ll notice that the right-hand column contains a number of useful modules including the ‘Cycling Latest’ module. Clicking on a link in this module will show you the latest live comments and the Gap Standing.
Another theme concerns the old Yahoo! Fantasy Football game. Don’t worry, this will be back for the next season. We plan on updating the presentation but the game will essentially remain the same. We also have another great football manager game called Soccer Manager. Here, you take over the management and training of your own football squad competing against real users from all over the world. You can try the game here: http://uk.soccermanager.yahoo.net/yfbm/

“Where are the main European Leagues?” If you go to the Football tab, click on ‘more’ you’ll see some more links. These include, Bundesliga, La Liga, Ligue 1, and Seria A.
“Where can I find rugby league news?” We have the latest news from rugby league here: http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/rugby/rugby-league/
