DermClips
One of the most challenging aspects of dermatology medicine is remaining current with information that can impact or improve your practice. DermClips, the Academy’s newest continuing medical education program, is brought to you by an editorial team made up of dermatologists that are dedicated to searching specialty and general medical literature, and bringing back the most important, relevant dermatologic articles for the practicing dermatologist.  Each article is selected, reviewed, and summarized by experts, who also provide insightful commentary in an easy-to-read format.

An annual subscription to DermClips includes:

  • Relevant dermatologic articles summarized by leading experts
  • An easy to read newsletter format that will help you stay current when faced with tight schedules
  • An educational activity you can complete in the convenience of your home, office, or while traveling

DermClips is a bi-monthly subscription program, available for up to 9 AMA-PRA Category 1 Credits™ (with a paid subscription)

Dialogues in Dermatology
With Dialogues in Dermatology the AAD has created an easy way to earn CME credits through its annual audio cassette or CD subscription program. You decide when and where to listen to Dialogues. There are no classes or seminars to attend; all you need is a few minutes and a cassette or CD player to participate. Listen to dialogues at your convenience, complete the self-assessment quiz and return the quiz to the AAD for grading. A minimum score of 70% is required to earn 2 CME Category I credits.

Pamphlets
The American Academy of Dermatology’s Patient Education Pamphlets have been successfully informing patients for more than 20 years. Each pamphlet has been reviewed by a committee of leading experts to insure the most valuable and accurate information is made available. With 60 titles, the pamphlets are divided up into six categories: skin reactions, cosmetic surgery topics, sun protection, common dermatologic conditions, general dermatology topics, and viral diseases.
