X Factor winner, Leona Lewis has been forced to halt her plans to crack America after falling ill due to her chaotic recording schedule.
The singer - who landed a $10 million record deal in the US after her triumphant victory on the British TV talent contest in December last year, is suffering from tonsillitis; and Stateside producers have insisted that the singer temporarily rests her voice and returns to the UK.
Her father, Joe says, “She has been overdoing it. The expectations on her are so great. She’s in the studio every day, late into the night. Now her producers have stopped until her voice gets better.”

I think it’s typical of the people making money from Leona to make her do this. It would probably sound as though she’s the one who has agreed to the schedule but I doubt it. Her fellow x-factor friends have both released albums, but not Leona. Will she be left behind I wonder ?.
Typical narrow minded though. Leona is the first artist to win such a show who has the honor of having her debut album released globally! Thats an achievement. She has not been rushed to get the finished album out, and will not be. She has voice to excel and does not need the X-Factor bannar to succeed. Time does not matter in this case. She does not need to be fresh in the minds of the public like prior winners.
